Reducing the NBU key policy rate will boost lending — Viktor Shulyk

Since April 24, the National Bank's Board has reduced the NBU key policy rate from 10% to 8% per annum. This is a much more radical step by the regulator, as Ukrainian bankers and Goldman Sachs analysts forecast a decrease in the NBU key policy rate by 1% - to 9%. The opinion by Viktor Shulyk, Program management office director of the IBI-Rating agency, regarding the decision of the NBU board is published on the GMK.CENTER portal.
