Commentary by Viktor Shulyk regarding the new version of the state budget 2020

After a month of quarantine, on April 13, 2020, the Verkhovna Rada at an extraordinary meeting voted for a revised version of the amendments to the state budget (bill No. 3279-d). In the updated budget, expected revenues decreased by almost UAH 120 billion compared to the original version of the document. Viktor Shulyk, Program management office director of the IBI-Rating agency, has told for the Focus Magazine how much money will be used to fight the coronavirus and how they will plug gaping holes in public finances.
