During the first week of October 2024, the exchange rate strengthened again. On the cash market, it dropped below UAH 41 per dollar, while the official rate reached UAH 41.2 per dollar. The appreciation trend has been going on since about mid-September. At that time, the exchange rate came close to 42 UAH/USD, but the hryvnia began to gradually regain its position.
