Rating agency IBI-Rating has presented Ternopil city investment passport at the International Investment Forum « Ternopilshchyna Invest - 2016»

On 19-20 May 2016 the city of Ternopil hosted the International Investment Forum «Ternopilshchyna Invest - 2016». This event was attended by about 25 foreign delegations from 18 countries, 10 international donor organizations, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ukraine, regions of partner countries and potential partners for interregional cooperation of the region, as well as business representatives.

It is noteworthy that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko congratulated participants of the International Investment Forum «Ternopilshchyna Invest - 2016» in his video address.

On the first day of the event, the Rating agency IBI-Rating experts presented Investment passport of Ternopil city and drew the public attention to the growth of most economic indicators and stable socio-demographic status of the city, due to which the rating of investment attractiveness of Ternopil city was upgraded from invВВВ to invВВВ+ (sufficient investment attractiveness).

According to Mayor of Ternopil city, Mr. Serhiy Nadal - «The forum is held under the slogan « Ternopilshchyna is a reliable partner!». And it is on the example of our region that we demonstrate to the entire world that a new Ukraine is being born, i.e. a country of new opportunities and development, which is open to both Ukrainian and foreign investments». Also, according to him - «A key task of the local authorities is creation of conditions for successful work of investors. In Ternopil city a number of international infrastructure projects and urban planning projects, aimed at increasing the city’s investment attractiveness, are already being successfully implemented. We are inviting investors to Ternopil as our city is a reliable and open partner. I am convinced that the New Ukraine has to be built on principles of open cooperation».
