Ratings of investment attractiveness

The rating of investment attractiveness is an important benchmark for investors, business partners as on its basis they can obtain information on the grade of investment attractiveness, reliability of a city/town, a region or a business project and to decide on the advisability of capital investing or continuation of a relationship.

IBI-Rating determines the following Ratings of investment attractiveness:
  • Rating of investment attractiveness of a city/town
  • Rating of investment attractiveness of an oblast’, a region
  • Rating of investment attractiveness of a construction project
  • Rating of investment attractiveness of a business project

Advisability of having a rating of investment attractiveness
The rating of investment attractiveness allows its Customers to stand out among other participants, to demonstrate the level of business culture, to improve the attractiveness of a city, a region or a business project, to conduct a pre-investment preparation as well as to provide information in an appropriate format.

Rating procedure
The rating of investment attractiveness is determined in accordance with the Procedures of rating and Methodology developed by IBI-Rating. Analytical group, guided by the above-listed documents, carries out a full-scale research of qualitative and quantitative indicators of activities of a city, a region, features of a particular business project; on the basis of the research findings a Rating report is produced and the key factors influencing the grade of the investment attractiveness rating are determined.

Rating product
The Rating report is the main document, which is submitted to the members of the Rating Committee (a collegial body) for decision-making on determining the rating of investment attractiveness. Further, the Rating report as well as the the Rating Committee’s Decision are presented to the Customer. In addition, the Customer is provided with a Certificate of the grade of rating of investment attractiveness and an Information logotype, which the Customer can use for marketing purposes, i.e. to be placed on the Customer 's website, information portals, as well as in the presentation materials.

Rating follow-up / Rating surveillance
Aiming at ensuring the relevance of the rating of investment attractiveness, IBI-Rating begins a procedure of monitoring of the Customer’s activities on the day following the rating assignment, periodically updating the results of the previously assigned rating. A scheduled review of the rating takes place on a quarterly basis (for business projects) and on a semi-annual basis (for cities/regions). Such a monitoring procedure enables users of the rating of investment attractiveness to stay informed about the state of affairs of the rating Customer.

Information accompaniment / Information servicing
Throughout the entire period of monitoring of the investment attractiveness rating, IBI-Rating carries out information accompaniment / information servicing of the rating, which contributes to the creation and support of the Customer’s business reputation and allows to communicate with investors.
