Oleksandr Kalashnikov has told why in Ukrainian banks there are much more problem loans than «alive»

After the crisis of 2014-2015 in Ukraine fixed the highest percentage of non-performing loans in the history of world observation. According to statistics of the NBU, the volume of problem assets in the banking system reached its peak in July 2017 - then the share of loans that are not serviced for more than three months and «lie dead» was amount to UAH 591.53 billion, or 58% of the total. And although from August to December 2017 this indicator fell to UAH 580.5 billion (54.9%), the share of toxic assets in the system still dominates. What led to the anti-record commented on Alexander Kalashnikov, director of the financial department of the rating agency IBI-Rating, for the FOCUS magazine.
